The UK-based Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI) has opened its first African office in Nairobi as it seeks to expand into the continent.

CISI is a global professional body for securities, investment, wealth and financial planning professionals formed in 1992 by London Stock Exchange practitioners. This will be the eighth office by CISI outside the United Kingdom.
