Africa Finance Corporation (AFC) has issued a first green bond, worth CHF 150 million (GBP 126 million).

The development finance institution will use the funds raised by the issuance to invest in, finance or refinance green projects across Africa, similar to the Djibouti wind farm and Singrobo hydro dam in Ivory Coast, which it is already backing.
