Niger has become the 33rd member state of the Africa Finance Corporation, the development finance institution (DFI) headquartered in Lagos and owned by African nations.
It follows in the recent footsteps of Burkina Faso, Democratic Republic of Congo and Morocco, who joined in the first quarter of the year and Egypt which joined in September.
