The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) regarding the possibility of establishing a ship to work as a floating power station.

The MoU was signed with the Alexandria Arsenal Company which is specialized in the shipbuilding and repair industry, and the Tanmia Company for Consulting and Engineering Services, which is specialized in cooperation with power station construction companies; in cooperation with the Finnish company Delta Marine, which specializes in ship design and preparation of initial and feasibility studies.
