Tanzania and Rwanda have agreed to reform transport and logistics sectors in order to boost trade and investments in the two East African Community member states.
At a joint press conference held at the State House in Dar es Salaam shortly after a meeting with her Rwandan counterpart Paul Kagame, Tanzania’s President Samia Suluhu Hassan said trade volume between the two parts does not reflect the abundant resources available in the two countries hence there is a need to capitalize on infrastructure to address the challenge.
