Telecom Egypt and Hungary’s 4iG Group recently signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to construct a submarine communications cable connecting Egypt and Albania.

The agreement aims to bolster cooperation between the two countries in order to enhance connectivity through submarine cable systems, according to the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Amr Talaat.
