Malawi: United States commits $40 million to boost employment

The US government, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), has launched a new $40 million (approximately K46.4 billion) project that will work with anchor firms to expand centres of economic opportunities for smallholder farmers, the youth and women in the country.

The project will help approximately 500,000 Malawians increase and diversify their income sources.
