Egypt is preparing to establish a green data centre project, harnessing around 200 megawatts (MW) of power sourced from solar and wind energy.

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has entered a new memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the International Company for Petroleum & Industrial Services (INCOME), Record Digital Asset Ventures, and SIC Investment for the development and operation of the project.
