Egypt partners with 55 firms to create 70,000 ICT jobs

Egypt is accelerating efforts to position information and communication technology (ICT) as a key driver of economic growth. The Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA) signed agreements with 55 local and international firms on November 9 to create 70,000 new jobs in the sector.

The signing took place during the World Outsourcing Summit in Cairo, held from November 9 to 10.
