The Singapore International Arbitration Centre is now accepting entries for its YSIAC Essay Competition 2019. Participants are invited to submit an original essay on either topic:

1. International arbitration and mediation: friends or foes?

2. Is increasing gender and ethnic diversity in arbitral tribunals a valid concern and should arbitral institutions play a greater role in ensuring diversity?

A distinguished panel of judges which includes members of the SIAC Court of Arbitration will choose the winners who will receive a complimentary delegate pass to the YSIAC Conference 2019 and be awarded cash prizes as follows:

Winner-SGD 3000

1st Runner Up- SGD 2000

2nd Runner Up- SGD 1000

Deadline for submission: 26 August 2019
