AYA Launches "Africa's Most Promising Young Arbitration Practitioners Award"

As part of its core objectives of promoting excellence in arbitration and showcasing young arbitration practitioners in Africa to the international arbitration community, the Association of Young Arbitrators (AYA Africa) has launched its new project “Africa’s Most Promising Young Arbitration Practitioners of the Year“. This prestigious recognition will celebrate the achievements of young arbitration practitioners from Africa and their contributions to the development of arbitration in the continent.

Nomination for the award is now open and will close on Monday 20 April, 2020. Kindly send the name and profile of your nominee(s) to info@youngarbitratorsng.org
Selected winners will be considered based on some of the criteria below:
*At least 3 years of experience in arbitration practice
*Reputation among peers in the arbitration community
*Notable contributions to the development of arbitration in Africa
*Nominations from leading arbitration practitioners
*Leadership in arbitration initiatives relating to Africa
*Ranking by leading international arbitration rating organizations
