The Africa Arbitration Academy (AAA) and the Africa Legal Support Facility (ALSF) recently formed a strategic partnership to advance efficient dispute resolution in Africa. Central to this partnership is the launch of this Survey on Costs and Disputes Funding to understand from the perspectives of users of litigation and arbitration in Africa, the impact of costs on filing and prosecution of claims, and the different funding options available to parties. This was driven by the rising (and sometimes prohibitive) cost of litigation and arbitration.
The significance of this Project is the gathering of empirical data for evaluating costs and dispute funding in Africa and the different initiatives or models that should be introduced by governments and institutions to make dispute resolution affordable and accessible to all.
Please complete this 9 minutes Survey Questionnaire https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/AAA-ALSF-Survey. Thank you for your support in developing the disputes market in Africa!
