The Zambian Government has signed an agreement to amend the SADC protocol on energy which seeks to promote and encourage direct participation of SADC member states in the development and efficient use of energy resources. Speaking during the signing ceremony, Energy Minister Peter Kapala said Zambia and the region had witnessed significant challenges in the energy sector.
