Algerian Energy and Mines Minister Mohamed Arkab received Li Jian, China’s ambassador to Algeria, in Algiers recently.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Energy and Mines during the hearing, which examined ways and means of developing bilateral cooperation in the various aspects of the sector, the two sides examined the state of play of mining projects in partnership with Chinese companies, namely Gara Djebilet iron deposit development project and the Integrated Phosphate Project (PPI).
