The University of Melbourne is offering a fully funded PhD opportunity under an Australian Research Council Discovery Project focused on the relocation of communities from climate-vulnerable areas. This program supports research that addresses one of the most pressing adaptation challenges of our time—climate-induced migration—while safeguarding the dignity and rights of affected communities.
This PhD opportunity includes full tuition coverage and a generous stipend of AUD 38,500 per annum (pro rata). All applicants will be automatically considered for a range of scholarships, with some requiring a separate application.
